Tapping is a simple technique you can use to reduce the feelings of stress, anxiety and overwhelm.
As weird as it looks, physically tapping on acupressure points on the body which are linked to the emotional centre of our brain (whilst thinking about the issue or problem), helps manage our emotions and how we feel.
Tapping calms our nervous system which is activated whenever we feel stressed. As our mind and body are interconnected, it doesn't matter whether that stress is real, imagined or anticipated.
We can also apply Tapping to manage behaviours that may be linked to stress like smoking, vaping, drinking, snacking or comfort eating.
Not only does Tapping help with stressful feelings that can lead us to these unwanted behaviours, it can also help manage the cravings and feelings of emptiness or anxiety we may experience as we quit.
Tapping has been found to be a great way to overcome thoughts and emotions that keep us stuck, unmotivated and disillusioned.
Not only will you feel better after Tapping, you'll notice it's much easier to be motivated to do better.
